As a travel enthusiast and sucker for documentations, I usually make a travel video to summarize my every trips. With that, people would normally ask me how do I edit my video? What software? How long does it take me? Is it hard? I can go all the day with the questions. LOL

I think it’s high time to post this tutorial by showing you 13 easy steps on how I edit my travel video using mobile phones 🙂

13 STEPS TO MAKE TRAVEL VIDEO (SAME DAY EDIT)

6. SEQUENCE

Arrange the clips depending on your preferred sequence. As for me, I follow the timeline of how my travel goes. So start from the beginning to the end footage.

7. noise

Mute videos that are too noisy or lower the volume. As for me, I always mute the clips and keep only a few with low-level volume

8. timing

Play with the timing. Some videos are good either in slo-mo or fast beat. You may also opt to duplicate video clips to make ripple effect.

9. transitions

Add transitions after each video. As for me,I'm only using 2 transitions: theme and dissolve.

10. MUSIC

Import music from your phone. (for iPhone users, music must be sync from itunes)

11. BALANCE

Align music with your videos

12. text

OPTIONAL: Add text for titles or captions.
